FROM WEBFLOW TO AFTERCODE IN DEVELOPMENT
You learned to see the page as a system: spacing, classes, components, content. Bring that experience into an Astro project that you and your coding agent can shape together.
YOU DON'T START FROM ZERO
The way you notice a cramped heading or an awkward gap still matters. Aftercode gives those decisions a place in a workflow where most of the site is built with an agent.
Work with regular Astro components, content, and CSS. Keep the brief, the review, and the implementation in tools you choose.
Make visual adjustments in Aftercode. Let a small spacing decision be a small spacing decision.
AI uses the project context to infer editing fields, so a client can work with a form that fits the content.
Webflow supports code export on paid Workspace plans. Its CMS functionality does not travel with that export. Aftercode is being designed around an Astro repository that includes published content and media and can keep building after you leave.
An Astro rebuild still needs a content model and replacements for the services you use. Webflow's export documentation ↗

Your client has a new story, a new project, or a photo to replace. Give them a CMS that understands the content they work with.
They can create entries, edit the details, choose related categories, and remove what they no longer need. Then check the page and publish their update.
Add a story, revisit a draft, or update something that's already live.
Start with a title. The editing fields are ready.
Try “A little room for good ideas”, or create your own story.
Write the story. Choose the image and categories. Check the page when you're ready.
Choose from your project's media.
The entry now appears as Published in your content list. Nothing was sent to a real site.
Rename a category once. Its label follows the relationship.
Categories in use stay protected. New, unused categories can be removed.
This is an interactive illustration of the planned client CMS. Changes live only in this page and reset on reload. No account, AI call, repository, or deployment is connected.
BEFORE YOU ASK
Here's where we're headed.
There is no automatic Webflow-to-Astro converter in this first version. Treat the move as a rebuild: bring the design and content, then check URLs, redirects, metadata, forms, and interactions before switching the live site.
The Aftercode workflow includes a real Astro project and a coding agent. Someone needs to understand the code, review changes, run builds, and handle integrations. Your visual experience is valuable here, but the development responsibilities are different.
Plan those requirements separately. Aftercode starts with static Astro sites and content editing. It does not currently replace a complete commerce system, form service, or localization platform.
That is a core part of the planned SaaS: a client login, content and media controls, approved sections, preview, and publishing. The hosted workflow is in development and is designed to work without the developer’s computer.
