BEFORE YOU ASK
Here's where we're headed.
Writing the code is the start of a website. There are still design decisions to make, content to publish, and clients who need to make changes. Aftercode is where that work happens, starting with Astro sites.
Build the site with your coding agent in your regular editor. Connect your local Astro project to Aftercode for visual adjustments, then give your clients a browser workspace for ongoing content editing. The hosted workflow is in development.
No automatic import or conversion. Aftercode is for builders taking their experience from WordPress to Astro. Start with a normal Astro project, built by you and your agent, then connect it to the visual editor.
That is a core part of the planned SaaS. Clients will have a browser workspace for content, images, and sections you approve, with a preview and publishing flow that works while your computer is off. Client workspaces are still in development.
The product is being designed around self-contained Astro projects. Published content and media belong with your project, and the static site should keep running without an Aftercode API. Your repository remains the place you can take with you.
Keep the tools you already use. The workflow starts with an ordinary Astro project on your machine, whether it was built with Claude Code, Codex, another agent, or your own two hands.
The Aftercode SaaS and client publishing flow are in development. The interactive studio on this page is a concept demo, not a connected editor. It lets you try the visual direction without creating an account or connecting a repository.
